1. Farmers Market - Run by th North Carolina Dept. of Agriculture, the Farmers market has over 30,000 sqft of fresh produce, vegetables, meat, cheese, and homemade food. Enjoy talking to local farmers and vendors while you sample their food.  

2. Flea Market - Treasures await at the fairgrounds. Everything you need and don't need but want can be found at the flea market. 

3. Glenwood South - Restaraunts, clubs, shops, all await you in this fun downtown location. 

4. North Hills - Outdoor Shopping at it's best. A great mix of national and local retailers mixed with local and regional Restaraunts. 

5. Marbles Kids Museum - Fun for kids and parents alike. Two stories of activities to keep the whole family happy. Located in Moore Square there are great places to eat and things to do before and after your trip to Marbles.

6. State Fair - Catch it while you can. The NC State Fair is right here is Raleigh. Enjoy games, rides and any food you can imagine deep fried!

7. Hurricanes Hockey - The NHL's 2006 Stanley Cup Champions continue to earn the support of everyone in the community. Bring the entire family. Many games feature $1 hot dog nights and an outdoor playzone for kids prior to the game. There is no such thing as a boring hockey game!

8. NC State Game - Just about any sport you want to watch is available right here in downtown Raleigh. The Wolfpack teams are always competitive in every sport and the venues are extremely fun. So there is tailgating and fantastic sports available almost year round

9. Raleigh Ampitheater - Top name artists perform at this cozy outdoor venue located in the shadows of the amazing Raleigh Skyscape. Walk to incredible restaraunts and bars before and after your event.

10. Pullen Park - Plenty to do for all ages. Playgrounds, Boats, Trains, Cafe, Picnic Areas.
