Angier - "Town of Crepe Myrtles" is a small town south of Raleigh with a population under 5000 according to the 2010 census. The town puts on the annual Crepe Myrtle festival that attracts 20,000 plus people and also hosts a popular bike festival that brings out motorcycle enthusiasts from all over country. The small main street area has shops, restaraunts, a park, and playing fields.
Apex - "The Peak of Good Living" has been recognized by several national organizations as one of the best places to live. The town has easy access to Cary, Raleigh and Durham, but most who live here would tell you that everything they need is right at home in Apex. The historic main street has antiques, great restaurants, shops, and serves as a gathering place for many annual events like the Christmas Parade and Peak Fest. Just down the road from main street, you will find Beaver Creek which has many national retailers, a movie theater and national restaurants, mixed with regional and local food and shopping establishments.
